Since Facebook - my blog sits neglected!

So it's time for a major up-to-date refresher.

What's been going on? We've been running and getting sick and then running more!

I am just getting over strep throat for the second time in 2 months. It's annoying. Luckily Jacey has been the only other victim so far. The Dr. said to wipe down everything I touch because it seems to be in my world. So that means it must be on the following items in my home. It is either on the washer & dryer or the sink and the dishwasher. I am pretty sure I am the only one touching those items (and if someone else does its so brief it's hardly enough time/contact to get ill) so those things have been completely washed!

When I am not sick I am trying to train for this looming Triathlon on June 6th. I am so excited about it and a little nervous but mostly glad when it's over and I don't have it hanging over my head. Troy has decided to do it with me which is great and expensive all at the same time. We both had to get new bikes, cha-ching. We both have to get clothing, cha-ching. We both have to pay for the registration, cha-ching. And the topper is we have to pay for childcare while we do our runs/triathlons, cha-ching ching ching. Can you hear the slot machine sound - that's what it sounds like every time we sign up for a race! :) Thankfully my parents can do it 1 time out of 5 which saves a little bit but they have lives (what's up with that???) too, so being healthy (no matter what the biggest loser says) is very expensive for us!

This weekend we are running Bay to Breakers which is new for each of us and (so I have heard) is a race everyone should do in their lifetime. We'll see and I'll report back on how fun it was. I also heard this from a runner friend who likes to run the hills/mountains in the Big Sur - which I did the relay with her a couple weekends ago and had a blast but my part was fairly flat compared to hers!! So... sometimes I take opinions from some pretty bias people! :)

We totally missed the Easter post/update which was great and so was Jacey's bike-a-thon at school where she ROCKED the school with her amazing biking ability... much like her mom! :) All posted in pictures below.

We leave to Disneyland in a couple weeks and Jacey turns 5 in a few weeks - man time flies!!!

This is our Relay team at Big Sur. Patty - she did the first 2 legs, Steph -she did the second 2 legs - and I brought up the rear! :)LOL I only did one leg - bummer but it was fun anyway!

This is Troy and I after the ZOO ZOOM!! Fun 10k downtown Sacramento.

Easter 2009 - Such happy girls.
